How the WJ2 Help Desk Reviews an Operator

Help desks work from checklists, and this is ours for operators. It is published so that readers can see what stands behind a description and, equally, what does not. WJ2 is an independent guide, not a casino or bookmaker. It takes no deposits and runs no games. 21+.

Why a checklist

New bettors ask the same questions in the same order: is it legal, how do I pay, what are the rules, what happens if something goes wrong. The checklist follows that order. Each item is answered from the operator's public pages and the regulator's lists, or it is marked unanswered. Nothing is filled in from memory, from forum posts or from what an operator's representative says in a chat, because none of those can be shown to a reader afterwards.

The eight questions

  1. Licence disclosure: which company holds the licence, and does PAGCOR's published list show it with this domain?
  2. Payment rails: which rails does the cashier use, and are the operator's limits and charges written down?
  3. Terms clarity: for bonuses and for betting rules such as void bets and settlement, is everything stated in one place?
  4. KYC rules: what documents are required and when?
  5. Complaint route: is there a dispute procedure, and does it mention the regulator?
  6. Responsible-gaming tools: can limits, time-outs and self-exclusion be set by the user?
  7. Support channels: are they on the operator's own domain, and are hours given?
  8. App distribution: is the source of the app stated, and what does it ask for?

In scope: what can be confirmed

  • Regulator listing, on the date checked.
  • The text of published terms and policies.
  • Rail timing in general: real-time for InstaPay up to its per-transaction cap, next-batch on a banking day for PESONet.
  • Whether support channels exist on the operator's own site.

Out of scope: what cannot

Payout times, fees, minimums, odds margins and bonus amounts are set by the operator and move frequently, so they are not printed here as facts about any operator; the cashier and promotions pages are the source. Nor can WJ2 confirm how a withdrawal request or a disputed bet will be handled for a particular customer. The desk does not open accounts to test operators and does not claim to have done so.

For sports betting specifically, settlement rules deserve a mention. How an operator treats a postponed match, a retired player or a disputed result is written in its betting rules, and those rules differ between operators. The checklist records whether such rules are published; it cannot say how they will be applied in a given case.

Some links out of this site may be partner links, which can pay the site when a reader registers. No payment changes wording, turns an 'unanswered' into an 'answered', or removes a caution. Operators do not see pages before they go live.

No scores or rankings

A help desk does not rank its callers' banks, and this one does not rank operators. Scores would suggest a measurement that was never taken.

Staying current

Every page shows a modified date. If an operator's page now says something different, follow the operator's page and, if you have a moment, expect this one to be corrected.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does WJ2 recommend a bookmaker?

No. It describes what operators disclose and leaves the choice to the reader.

Why are odds margins and payout times missing?

They are set by each operator and change. A guide cannot verify them from outside.

Do partner links change your answers?

No. The checklist is logged the same way regardless.

Before You Choose an Operator
